Beard is the most important subject in Islam. Because Islam is a religion and almost all Muslims believe in Allah and the Holy Prophet (S). The Prophet (S) always keeps beards.
On the other hand, almost all Islam scholars believe there are several benefits of a beard in Islam. Some Islam scholars say a beard is a must for every Muslim.
At the same time, some Islam scholars believe every Muslim must keep a beard length of a fist. So today I will try to discuss why the beard is important and beneficial in Islam.
What are the benefits of a beard in Islam?
Beard has several health benefits. As an example, a beard can protect your skin from sun UV rays and any sun damage. Beard can keep you warm in winter. Beard can make you attractive. So you can gain several Scientific benefits by keeping a beard.
Maybe that’s why we can see many hadiths are available in Bukhari and Muslims about keeping the beard. That hadith indicates that every Muslim and every person should keep a beard. On the other hand, many people believe in the world beard is a sign of Muslim people.
Some people think the beard is a sign of love holy Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam. It’s true Islam encourages people to keep their beards. Also a long time ago people divided disbeliever Islam by beard. But today lots of other religions people keep beards. You can try smart sunnah beard styles.
What is the punishment for shaving beard in Islam?
Beard is a sign of masculinity and a beard is a sign of sunnah. Every people should ultimately target paradise. That’s why everyone should practice sunnah. However, today I will try to discuss what they say in the Quran and sunnah about the punishment of cutting a beard.
Some Islamic scholars said shaving the beard is mukuro. But most Islam scholars said cutting the beard is haram in Islam. So we can see strong evidence that shaving a beard is haram.
But the Quran doesn’t have any direct space about cutting a beard as mukuro or haram. But there are many Hadith available that Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam increases to keep a beard. However, if you want a smooth and shiny beard just go here for the best beard butter.
Hadith about beard in Islam
Beard is a visible sunnah for Muslims. However, there are many hadiths available in Bukhari and Muslims about beards. There I want to discuss some hadith about beards. That hadith I collect from Bukhari and Muslims.
Hadith number 1
Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, “Try to lengthen the beard and cut short the mustache”. Said Ibn Umar radiyallahu anhu (Bukhari and Muslim).
Hadith number 2
Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said “Grow the beard.” said Ibn Umar Radiyallahu Anhu (Muslim).
So there we can see two strong hadith. That hadith indicate Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said every Muslim should keep a beard. So every Muslim needs to keep a beard on his face.
